At PhysioMobile, we take the collection and protection of your personal information seriously.
In the context of our usual operations, the following are the instances where your personal information may be communicated to us, always with your prior consent:
- E-mail communications: we use the Microsoft Office Outlook software for all of our internal e-mail communications; we invite you to review their privacy policy: https://privacy.microsoft.com/en-ca/privacystatement . During the course of your treatments, you will be in direct contact with your treating physiotherapist, who uses his own private and secure email account;
- Daily internal communications amongst the members of our team: we use the Microsoft Teams platform to do so. Our therapists each have their own private and secure account. We invite you to review their privacy policy: https://privacy.microsoft.com/en-ca/privacystatement ;
- Disclosure of your personal and medical data, used to create your initial profile and client file in our system: we use the Medexa platform to store all client data; we invite you to consult their privacy policy: https://medexa.com/en/ . For the duration of your treatments, it is solely your treating physiotherapist, using his personal and secure Medexa account, who will have access to your client file and keep it updated;
- Exercise programs: we use the Physiotec program to prescribe personalized exercise programs to our clients; we invite you to consult their privacy policy: https://physiotec.ca/ca/en/ . For the duration of your treatments, it is solely your treating physiotherapist using his personal and secure Physiotec account, that will have access to your client file and keep it updated;
- Telephone communications, text/SMS messages: the initial organization of services is executed by the company’s administrators. Subsequently, you will be assigned to a physiotherapist with whom you will continue contact and communication for the duration of your treatments. The administrators continue to be at your disposal should further assistance be required;
- Debit or credit card payments: we use TD Bank point-of-sale terminals for all card payments, please refer to their privacy policy: https://www.td.com/ca/en/about-td/privacy-and-security/our-privacy-commitments/protecting-your-information . Payments made remotely, outside the session, are executed by the administration;
- All communication and transfer of information between you and your physiotherapist and/or the administration remain confidential and private; with the aim of fulfilling service requests and facilitating their delivery as soon as possible.
Access request: as PhysioMobile clients, you will have access to your client file at all times. For file requests by individuals other than the client, we will require either: 1) the client’s prior written consent, or 2) the written consent of the person designated as responsible for curatorship/tutorship, in the case of an incapacitated adult.
